Our Garden
Madrona has a beautiful garden space on the south side of the building. Teachers often make time to explore the garden with their classes. Madrona's Green Team hosts garden maintenance parties in the Fall and Spring to bring our community together to take care of the garden.
Green Plate Special
Green Plate Special has been working with our fourth and fifth grade students for three years. This year we will expand the program to third grade as well. With Green Plate Special, our students work with garden educators and volunteers to learn about growing food, cooking, and eating as a community. Check out their website to learn more:
